YouLoveIt Foods — Seller Terms & Conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By registering as a seller on the YouLoveIt Foods platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.

2. SELLER OBLIGATIONS
2.1 You must ensure all food items listed comply with UK food safety legislation, including the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Food Information Regulations 2014.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining appropriate food hygiene standards and holding a valid food hygiene rating where required.
2.3 You must accurately describe all products, including allergen information, ingredients, and pricing.
2.4 You must fulfil all accepted orders promptly and to the standard described on your storefront.

3. PLATFORM FEES & PAYMENTS
3.1 YouLoveIt Foods charges a commission fee on card-processed orders as agreed at the time of onboarding.
3.2 Cash orders are subject to a commission that is invoiced periodically by the platform.
3.3 All fees are subject to change with 30 days' written notice.

4. STRIPE CONNECT
4.1 Card payments are processed via Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe onboarding before card payments can be accepted.
4.2 The platform acts as the merchant of record for Stripe transactions and distributes funds to your connected account.

5. ACCOUNT SECURITY
5.1 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
5.2 Two-factor authentication (2FA) is mandatory for all seller accounts.
5.3 You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

6. CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 You retain ownership of all content you upload (menus, images, descriptions).
6.2 By uploading content, you grant YouLoveIt Foods a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.

7. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
7.1 YouLoveIt Foods reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for breach of these terms, failure to maintain food safety standards, or fraudulent activity.
7.2 Sellers may close their account by contacting support with 14 days' notice.

8. LIABILITY
8.1 YouLoveIt Foods acts as a marketplace and is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of food items sold by sellers.
8.2 Each seller is solely responsible for compliance with applicable food safety, trading standards, and tax regulations.

9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
